It can be a little misleading this way e.g. when there’s a big update like Duolingo change to the crown. Beautiful decor inside with the fluffy curtains. Located outside Crown at the front near the Yarra river, both indoor and outdoor seatings were very comfortable. The only downside with inside was the tables were so close that you can hear your neighbours’ conversations. Vego risotto with zucchini was super tasty. ALFRESCO AT CROWN RIVERWALK Rosetta encapsulates authentic Italian flavours beautifully. With generous serves of lamb straight from the wood-fired oven to more than 16 varieties of handmade pasta crafted by two dedicated chefs daily. You can experience these exceptional tastes on their Terrace along the Yarra. Rosetta is one of Australia’s most elegant and sophisticated Italian restaurants, which combines an impressive Iain Halliday-designed dining room with professional and authentic service, and a seasonally driven menu of Neil Perry’s favourite regional recipes from his extensive travels through Italy.

Had a group dinner here recently. Not good at all!! Before you Date of visit: March For a special outing you Em Qualifikation Playoffs to remember eat at Rosetta's. Nothing Crown Conservatory Buffet Lunch. Came here for a much anticipated family dinner. Just because you employ waiters with strong Italian accents to make it appear like a genuine Italian restaurant, it doesn't make it an Italian restaurant.
For a special outing you want to remember eat at Rosetta's. The seating inside is very grand-palace like. Great weather - choose the outdoor seating, nicely under cover.
Good selection of main meals, lots of pasta options, fish and side dishes. The grilled duck breast was very tender and marsala sauce just right, not overpowering, lightly battered broccolini, and a little wrapped up broad bean side.
The eggplant parmigiana side dish was very yummy. The fennel salad didn't have enough fennel. The gnocci made with ricotta was the very thing my friend came for - but alas had just sold out.
Located in the crown complex. Walk in bright plush surroundings. Ambience refined, relaxed and inviting. Staff friendly attentive and efficient.
We preordered the goat dish exquisite. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys roasted meat dishes.
A little expensive in some of there dishes but over worth the vist. Odd menu choice. We after eat at the Rockpool group Of restaurants and this would be the worst.
The menu is hard to choose from. Lovely venue. Outdoor seating is divine. Shame about the food. Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback.

Many thanks, Toby Frankin. We had not booked but were able to get a table for 4 outside on a busy pre-xmas weekend.
The seating was comfortable and the drink and food wait staff were wonderful and able to answer all of our food and wine questions.
We never had an empty water glass all night. The night was very warm so we enjoyed sitting outside which was private with a screen of plants.
We had 2 bottles of Italian red wine and it was lovely and as expected pricey. Beautiful decor, great food and extraordinary service. Tagliatelle with swimmer crab signature dish is the best I have had.
This restaurant is located as part of the Crown Complex and it is graded as a Fine Dining establishment. The prices of the dishes, the outdoor setting, indoor dining room, bathroom facilities and the overall vibe is reminiscent of that but the food is incredibly average.
No salad was served with it and all side dishes carried their own price tags. The cute mice that were running outside, in the outdoor dining area were also a nice after dinner treat The dessert menu was unexciting also, so we left after main course.
Certainly not planning on returning here again although the service was absolutely great and our waiter was particular helpful and honest. My partner and I visited Rosetta to celebrate my partners 21st birthday.
Rosetta has always been on the list of places to go and it seemed like the perfect occasion. I cannot fault the service that I experienced when dealing with the Rosetta staff, whether it be over email prior to our booking to organise a surprise cake for my partner , whilst we were there dining or asking for help with a photo on our way out.
For us, Rosetta is a place to visit during a special occasion, it is certainly not within our once-a-week or even once-a-month budget and we felt a bit out of place in such a beautiful establishment, however our feelings were quickly quashed by the warm, attentive and exceptional service provided by the staff.
The food was quite obviously expensive, however it was easily offset by the quality of the food and service alike.
Staff was friendly and greeted us warmly. They took my coat and seated us promptly. We did not have reservations. Wine was good but a little expensive for a glass.
My food was excellent. I had a pasta dish and salad. For dessert we enjoyed the chocolate, peanut, coconut Freddo together.
It was delicious, as was the coffee. Own or manage this property? Claim your listing for free to respond to reviews, update your profile and much more.
